A sculpture of my arm in profile that works both as a static representation and also for interaction. The sculpture attempts to explore social awkwardness in relation to shaking hands, as is the custom. Also underlying this idea is my belief in the importance of 'making' things yourself, important to an artist , but at the expense of understanding social relationships maybe.
